I have decided to keep this truck as it was built, a fire truck. At first I was upset with the modifications not being done in a neat manner . So I began to remove the pump and the associated equipment, I am in the process of putting it back together and I am going to try to do a better job. I was able to locate an instruction and installation manual for the Barton front pump. Nice looking truck ! It's interesting how they could take the '50 Chevy truck and make so many differant looking fire trucks out of them . Mine is so close to yours in the front yet differant - the same pump but front bumper is not out as far and in the tank/rear end nothing like mine . That's what I like about the commercial truck bodied fire trucks they could be built to look / function as needed - not many looking the same. Keep us posted on your work . It is a copy of the original instalation and maintenance manual. Maybe it will give me a better understanding about how the whole pump system works.

I am still using a 35mm camera and I need to complete the roll of film before I can bring it to walmart to get it put on a cd. So it will be coming soon.
