I checked the maintinance manual and it says to refer to the sticker on the valve cover. After 60 years that sticker is long gone... I saw it said to set them cold at .012 and .020 but to re-check after the engine warmed up.

If it is not specified other than .012 and .020 in the manual, I bet the same values were listed on your missing decal.
