Also, there would be mention of the resulting different displacement number. The rods are the same at the journal end but have heavier(larger)pin end that requires use of the larger bore 261 piston which the 235 block cannot handle.
The difference between the two engines is the bore. The stroke is identical.
If you want a 261 you will need a complete short block.
