Truck has a 305/350 from a 78 monte and i was wondering if there is anything i can do to fix the linkage so i get the correct amount of movement on the shifter arm so that i dont go from park to 1 in half of the normal travel(ie; reverse shows barely on the right side of park, drive shows in the neutral area) It's not a super critical thing, but annoys me anyhow.  Thanks! Shawn

This will make the shift lever move further between quadrant notches, and align better.

Then readjust the linkage rod.
