The blaster I picked up at Harber Freight Tools is a lot cheaper price wise and works very well. The cost was $89.00 on sale Reg price was $129.00. It holds a 3/4 bag of sand or you can use other media with it. built very well and I have ran CFM's from 30lbs. to 125lbs Pressure with a 3/8 and 1/2 hoses.

I bought a 40 LB HF sandblaster and it worked great too. Only drawback was after about an hour & 1/2 of blasting it completely wore out the shut off valve & had to disconnect the air hose to shut it off.

I have the 40 lbs HF one also. Fisrt day with sand and parts it actually laid down on the floor like a camel. one leg at a time buckled and it went down. I had to brace up the legs to keep it upright.

I have noticed that HF has gone to a cheaper Ball Valve on the new SB's just go get a Hydurlic Ball Valve to replace it.

It all kind of boils down to you get what you pay for.

My sandblaster was a gift from a neighbor that had used it in restoring his model A F**d, thanks Art Park, may your soul rest in peace. Works good but uses lots more air than my little compressor will supply so I have to wait a lot for air to build up, but when the price is right..........

Try Texas Blasters
Much more like a commercial unit and uses alot of air. Very reliable and will give plenty of instructions.

My blaster arrived today from a compnay called BADBOY BLASTERS. I bought it from what 55 1st Suburban in the 1st post said and also from their feedback on their site. I had a few issues with mine. I emailed the company with my concerns. Believe it or not, with 2 minutes of me sending the email, the company owner called me, (this was at 8:20 pm no less) and the parts are being sent tommorow. That is hands down the best cutomer srvice I have ever had.
