It will crank right up but it will do the same thing.  It seems like the timing is off. The vacum advance looks original and the moving parts are a little sloppy. I just got the truck and the cap,points and rotor are new. And the gas filter as well. Any tips? The ethanol blend they make us use is hard on accelerator pump parts.
