1. What are the advantages/disadvantages of top feed and bottom feed spray guns? (Top feed being guns with the paint canister at the top of the spray gun)
2. What are the advantages/disadvantages of siphon feed vs. pressure feed.
3. What are the advantages/disadvantages of high flow-low pressure guns vs. low pressure high flow? What is considered high fflow and low pressure?
My compressor has max pressure at 120 psi and max flow at 10+ cfm. I have 3/8" hose.

Good luck, Scott | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats | | Grumpy old guy playing with trucks, cars, and boats Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 1,859 | Due to the VOC limit requirements if you spray much, you will need a HVLP (High Volume Low Pressure) to control air-borne VOC's and not get a fine (your paint shop needs to report all paint sales)
Beyond that, generally pressure guns are for hosing on a lot of paint in a short period of time.
I myself have a variety of siphon guns and will be changing to HVLP's as I replace them.
