They say the 2 groove signaw is the way to go but with a 1-1 fourth gear it wont help with freeway speeds with the 3:90 gears. If you do a lot of freeway speed driving you may want to look at the 3:38 ring and pinion kits for the '55 rear end. | | |

Of course,I always recommend switching to 235/85R-16's if you don't already have 'em.going from a 235/75-15 th the 16's will give you about 10 to 15 more mph (depending on the brand)at the same rpm's. | | |
