I do not have a trailer to get her to a muffler shop. I have tried NAPA for the pipe, no go. Anyone know where I can get one? Or the pattern so I can have one made? Thanks. | | |

They have "cards" that tell them how to bend pipes for different makes and models. They still have the 1954 cards! They made me an exhaust pipe as per the card and it fits. Maybe they go back to 51.

Being concerned about getting a ticket is another issue. Around here the cops are pretty forgiving with these old trucks and understand about driving to the muffler shop without any pipes or mufflers. Just keep your foot out of it.

I wasn't sure those valves would warp or not. What about when I shut it off? Will the (relatively) colder air rushing in that exhaust manifold cause any warpage? | | |

There were no leaks and I was able to use tubing to pipe the exhaust out the garage door. | | |

I picked mine up this past weekend and it looks awesome. It is polished stainless and it bolts right up to the fenton headers and there is absolutely no modification other than driving out two existing rivets.
IMO this is the only way to go. | | |
