on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 145 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2008 Posts: 145 | I used the search and found a lot of into on both the oil filter and clifford. I have the clifford intake and headers on order. I'm also interested in the beehive oil filter from patricks. The order description has an option for stock or Offy brackets. Will one of these work with a clifford intake? My guess is that the engine at the Patrick's link (above) is a GMC straight-six (the oil filter on those engines is normally on the distributor side of the engine).
davidn,
Is it possible to mount a standard by-pass oil filter on the Clifford intake? If yes, the stock adapter from Patrick's should work. Note: call in your order and ask about the bracket you want - their old catalog had the parts numbers backwards.
