wow my trucks finaly painted got the windowes in i was mounting the head lights and hooked up the battery to see if they worked all this smoke came pouring out of the dash turns out i had opened the windshield vent that hadent been open in years and the handle penched a wire going to the dash it looked really bad but only melted one wire lucky' the head lights work fine there was a broken spring on one the other had none. where dose the spring go this is on a 52 thanks for any help

nice to hear you got the paint on man thats scary about the wire glad nothin bad happened lucky thats all it was that must have freaked you out not sure about the spring cant tell by lookin at the other one?

wow super 55 looks good it shows 4 spring but you realy cant see how they hook up my lights seem to be in pretty tight with out them it looks like they may go behind the bulb thanks for the help
