Just signed up as I had tech question after I disassembled my timing cover. 1st car was a 1950 Chevy now one of My hobby vehicles is a 50 Chevy truck. Submitted to the gallery so hopefully You all can see it as it is Very clean and original. I had told my father for years that out of his old cars I wanted the truck as it was original and everything else he owned although desirable and most more valuable had been restored and this truck is just that nice in My eyes. Dad still has 3 cars but gave away 3 Brother got 48 Chrysler Windsor Convertible Nephew got 57 Dodge Coronet and I got the truck I had been asking for. Dad still has 56 Buick special convertible ( looks presentable but should really be completely restored) , a 49 Cadillacs 62 series and a 48 Chevy Convertible. 48 Chevy has been in a movie and used on a weekly Local Tv program. I got to drive the 48Chevy to the very 1st Opening Day Ceremonies at Jacobs Field in Cleveland and Transported Herb Score (Got 2 balls Autographed By him) And also Drove Mike White(Cleveland's Mayor at the Time). Got to Drive some of the 48 World Series team during special ceremonies at the Jake where the remaining members of the team attended. Had to use the Chrysler as it was a 2 Day affair and My Dad took the Chevy the First Day and the engine gave out.Have 3 Balls signed by all in attendance from the 48 World Series Team.
Old Cars are a great hobby and I have a a great time and memories.

Welcome to the bolt. And remember, we like'em all. Some pix are always nice but we'll give you time to drag up a chair. Look forward to seeing you around the garage.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile
