hi folks,
slow progress on the 59 fleetside, but it's getting closer.
My goal (updated), is todrive it to the car show in Stowe, VT in August. Lots to do! And the other cars keep breaking!

Since I disassembled the truck soooo long ago, and didn't keep very good track of the parts (lesson learned), I can't find the block that joins the hard brake lines from the MC and the passenger WC, and the hose from the driver side WC. I can't even figure out how they all go together. Does anybody have a picture of this? Or could somebody go out and snap one?

I'm thinking maybe I can cobble something together from the assortment at the parts store, unless somebody knows where I can find the right one....

Thanks
-tyler

Not cheap but Jim Carter oldchevytrucks.com sells some of them for your 59. He probably has all but I don't have the task force catalog; I only see the ones that fit advance design AND task force. Good luck.

I just hit the NAPA and faked it where I couldn't find original stuff in my stash - mostly the line from the MC goes straight forward to the drivers wheel cyl and plugs into a splitter w/ one side going to the flex hose, the front split then continues as metal line to cross at the front cross member to the pass side WC

if I recall correctly, the splitter has one male side that sticks thru the frame hole and is held in w/ a jamb nut - also most of the rubber hoses now come w/ a knob on the end that fits thru the frame and a C clip that crimps on the knob to hold it - if yer havin fits, I might be able to scare up some pics of the pieces
