I have found the window regulator rebuild kits at LMC, Jim Carter,Classic Parts, etc, but can not find the larger 'helper' springs anywhere. The rebuild kits do not contain this type of spring and no one at the parts places mentioned above have been able to point me to a good source. I will be putting the doors back on the truck after painting the hinges. Thanks for the info. My regulators were pretty beat up, so by the time I get new guts, springs, rollers and rivets I was getting some money involved. I did some shopping and found a pretty good deal at Brothers so may buy new ones. It gets really annoying when doors and windows do not work they way they should. I have observed similar things. This time Brothers had a sale item and Classic matched the price so I saved on shipping since Classic is closer. I am not bashful about asking if a supplier will match or beat a price. I have bought stuff from several and let them know that the quality is about the same everywhere I have purchased. It then gets down to total price plus shipping and sometimes service. These old bolts get pretty pricey pretty quick, so you got to do what you can to keep costs down. Thanks
