These are on the rear. I was wondering why it sat lower on the driver side. Now I know. The 8.25's are mounted on the driver side and the 9.0's are on the passenger side. The last owner only ever used it to drag his horse arena and farm work, so it was in the dirt most of the time. Would this have hurt anything though? Are the rearends open or are they limited slip on the Big Bolts? Looks like I definitely need tires before I drive it on the street now.

What size are the fronts? I just thought you might have 4 matching ones for the rear, and have the other pair in the front.

Unless it's spent a lot of miles on hard pavement at highway speed, there's probably no wear or damage to the spider gears. I don't think any of the older big rear ends had any sort of limited-slip arrangement available.

Maybe he drove it in a lot of crosswinds grin My '36 came with 5 different sizes out of 6 possible. Necessity is the mother of invention.

It's has 8.25-20 in front. The only thing I can think of is to put the two 9.0-20's in front, but I'm not sure they will fit. If it does work that would give me 9.0's in front and 8.25's in back.

you will have to watch your turn radius so you don't hit springs with tires on the front
