I know most of the vendors sell the panels that go on the inside of the doors. Anybody know where I might find the under the window panels? What have some of you burb owners done when you find these things missing?

If you are referring to the metal frames for the rear panel trim on the driver's side, they are not available. The front door panel frames are available and you might be able to adapt those frames for the rear panels. I have never done this - maybe someone who has, will respond.

Also the holes were nowhere near where they were supposed to be. Made do with some very large trim washers after elongating and moving the holes. I find that there is a gap in the center of where the two panels meet. Is there another trim piece that is supposed to cover the gap? My sub came with no side panels so I don't know if there are pieces missing. Any help?

There are 2 panels on each side surrounded by trim on 3 sides. The remaining sides of each panel meet in the middle and I is covered by piece of trim about 1 inch wide.

I don't really know what the side panels are supposed to look like. It sounds like I am missing the trim. Could you post a picture? Is Temperence in the UP?

It's a 1/8" thick cardboard with a textured finish on one side. They come in 4' X 8' sheets and are available at auto trim & upholstery places in 4 or 5 different colors, and can be painted to match the original. They can be cut into any shape easily with a pair of good tin snips. I used it to replace the originals on my '59 panel, and they look great. | | |
