Today I lost a wheel bearing on my truck and fear the worst. The outer brearing is gone and I was unable to get the spindle nut off along the road. So IF the spindle or hub needs to be replaced does anyone know of a good source for these? I checked LMC and they don't have them listed. It is a 53' 3100.
Thanks y'all.

You will most likely have to look for a used one. Several years ago, I bought two NOS (New Old Stock) spindles (steering knuckles) off eBay.

I think that 1951-1957 (maybe later ?) 1/2 ton knuckles/spindles are the same (left and right).

Was able to get one out of OK in good shape. It now turns out that the king pin replacement parts that came with the truck when I bought it are the wrong ones so here we go again. It's Sullivan's Law... you know Sullivan, he's the guy that said Murphy was an optimist. My wife is still hinting at power steering so who knows where this deal will end...Se L' Vie.
