I think its the accel pump cam. For those of you running the 390, what pump cam are you using and how do you have the carb set up?

After we got the lag taken care of the only way we could get all the plugs to burn clean (maybe some design flaw problem with the Clifford 6=8) was to install the two different type of plugs with a 4-2 split. | | |

Whats your vacuum at idle? I've got 15-16" at 700 RPM. I think I've got the 6.5" power valve, and red pump cam. Did the 6.5 run your motor lean on accel or what? Is your brownish tan pump cam using screw hole #1 or #2 on throttle arm?
