The other day browsing Craigslist I came across a free Tonneau cover for a 2002 Mazda B3000 Pickup that the guy said "looked good but the locks didn't work"... it is also missing the hinge parts that attach to the truck itself although the cover has the two tabs sticking out of it that go into those hinges...
I drive out, look at it and much to my surprise it is nice... as nice as those I have seen advertised for $400 or so on CL...

It is a black FG cover, no damage at all... turns out the guy had his vehicle totalled while the tonneau was off and he just wants to get rid of it!

I jump in the '37, we head out, pick it up and bring it home...
Now the job is to make it fit...
Has anyone here adapted a larger Tonneau cover to a smaller pickup bed and if so how hard was it?
The B3000 tonneau cover I got is about 5' x 6' while my pickup bed is around 45 3/4" x 77" (yes I know I'll have to add some length probably where it mounts at the front but no big deal...)
Any hints or suggestions from someone who has done this?
