Well look at me, "Mr Bag and Tag" missed something. I'm usually so anal about this - putting everything in boxes and baggies with everything labeled and I found these parts in an unmarked zip lock today. I just know that when I put them in the bag I said to myself "This is so obvious I'll know what they are... no need to mark the bag" Yea, right!

Anyway HERE they are... '51 half-ton. Any help is appreciated.

Sorry Woody, I think you've stumped me on this one!
At first I thought the metal collars were from the parking brake cross bar pivots,but they look a little small for that!
You have my sympathy. Been there,done that!

I have played these 'guess the parts' games in the past and made a arse of myself...what the heck, here goes!

I can't really tell the scale, and don't know if all the stuff is related, but could it be steering column parts. That spring looks like the one near the upper mast bushing. You don't see SAE fasteners in most places on these old rigs.

Maybe some of your buddies just bagged up some misc. parts from their stash and threw them in to throw you off lol.

Is that a hood latch spring and two hood hinge bolts?

There they are! I've been looking all over the place for that stuff. Those pieces are used to mount the battery box in a 1969 Norton Commando. The bolts are Whitworth thread. . . . .

Seriously, we could have a weekly "What's this?" photo here at Stovebolt. It'd be a good way to educate folks as to what's in these old trucks.

I think you may be correct. I bought a used emergency brake assembly and it's very possible that those parts came with it and the reason I never marked them is that I don't need them... that part of the system was still in the truck.

That spring is the one that goes on the end of the e-brake rod that pokes through the floor... I'm pretty sure. Not sure where the bolts go... maybe they are "extras" that come with every truck... you know, those parts that are always left over when you're done

Well I guess I’m over my temper tantrum and feel like jumping back in the water and trying to help out. I just hate to have what I post labeled as "ranting", it’s an ego thing you know!
So Woody, I hope this clears up your mix up, here are a couple of pics of the emergency cross shaft (3/4 ton) and parking pedal. I think the split spacers are for the cross shaft, they space out the levers from the frame and the bolts could be for one of the cross shaft bearing flanges that bolts to the frame.
One of the large washers (3/4” ID) looks like it’s for the foot pedal outer pivot that is retained by a cotter pin.
One washer (5/8” ID) appears to be for the bumper on the end of the round parking brake foot shaft that comes through the floor. There should be a square felt (1/2” tk) sandwich with rubber on both sides the slips over the end of the shaft and is retained with a cotter pin. There should also be a square rubber seal that slides into the pocket where the shaft goes through the floor.
That spring is the one that is compressed between the floorboard and the pedal lock.

Agree I think Denny has them nailed.

I had a look in the garage this morning, the split spacers are definately from the cross shaft for the parking brake.
As Denny said they space the drop links out from the chassis at the brake cables.
I had a look at my parking brake foot pedal assembly and I have to agree with Denny and Brad too!
Who needs an assembly manual..... when you've got The Stovebolt Forum!
