on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! It supposedly fits inside the original equipment distributor assembly for V8's and uses the stock rotor and cap. Sound too good to be true? Electronic ignition that looks like a stock distributor. What will they think of next?

It fits right in replace of the points & uses the stock cam as a reluctor. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 121 | i also have the crane brand in one of my trucks. it is really good i like the built in rev limiter

I know no. 1 is not firing, but the others on the right bank are (I haven't had time to check the left bank). From a previous post I have been convinced that the dist cam lobe is worn and not pushing the points open for the non-firing cylinders. It looks like some of the HEI conversions use the cam lobe to control the spark. Theoretically, I would still have the problem even with the new HEI. Right?
