| | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 338 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 338 | Just got my T5 and was wondering if anyone has a template to mount the e-brake. I figured I can fabricate something but it would be great if someone has already figured out the dimensions.
This is in a 47 1st, I have Buffalo Engineering's modified bell housing to keep the original clutch/brake pedal mount point.

What I did was make a sample from 1/4" MDF that you can actually bolt to your trans to make sure it works before you make one out of 1/4" aluminum. You will also need to drill and tap two holes in your adaptor plate and make a "L" bracket for the rear mounting point. Be sure to check out the links. Steppenwood has some good pictures of the process.
