Put on new brakes and E-brake cables. I have a two piece rod that connects between the pedal and the E-brake cross shaft. The assembly manual shows a single rod with a tab welded on it to hook on a spring. I have one spring and one wire extension about 8" long. No tab on the rod to hook spring to. I can't remember how this spring and extension were hooked to the frame and brake rod. I've tried to just look at the situation but still can't figger it out.. can anybody provide some guidence? On yours, that spring extension hooks to the midpoint of the connector rod, the spring on the other end hooks to the cross member, look close, you will see a hole near the edge. | | |
