I just put a camaro clip on my 59 chevy truck and wanted to know what springs to use. The car was a small block car. Should I get big block springs since my truck is haevier or is it fine with small block springs? I have the suspension all apart and wanted to get the correct springs before I put it all together. It is just a frame with suspension right now so I have no reference for the weight of the truck.

This may suprize you, but a '59 3100 is actually lighter than a Camaro. Stock wieght on a 3100 is 3260 for a stepside, 3304 for a Fleetside. Thsi is the weight for a base model truck as shipped. Weight will vary depending on equipment. You don't specify what year Camaro that the sub came from, but the average shipping weight for a 2nd gen Camaro is right around 3400-3500 pounds.
