ki ora everyone hello i am having probs with the carb shes starts to back fire when shes getting warm i have cleaned the carb regasked her checked for leaks with ether i was thinking can a valve cause a backfire if its to tight? usually its fuel or electrics ive cleaned fuel a new filter a new condencer in the dizzy new points so if there is something ive missed or yous can think of something besides what ive tried i would greatly appreciate it 235cc rochester carb in a 46 pick/up also will a 55 diff fit straight in the rear of my 46 and spline fit? cheers pete

An over tight valve could cause backfireing. You should also check the timing and the spark advance parts.


if it dosen't need fixed, break it
