Connect into passenger side of tranny. About 5/16 line. Checked Shop Manual found nothing. Must of been addded by PO. Any ideas? my thiught is it must be used to cool tranny. Just a rookie, still learning

You said it's running trans fluid through an oil cooler "INSIDE" the radiator? I would think it's running radiator water around an oil cooler inside the tranny. I either need to have this radiator re-cored or buy a new one. If I buy a new one I will have to tap hole is it for the trans lines. Thanks

Transmission fluid comes from the tranny, through a heat exchanger inside the radiator back to the tranny. Alternately, you could buy a transmission cooler core and mount in front of your radiator for better cooling. | | |
