I can't seem to find the weight of these trucks anywhere. Whats your guess on a 1962 C-10 shortbed, V8, 4 speed ?

thanks

I would guess about 4000 for the short bed and maybe 4500 for the long bed..........with out driver..

maybe someone that has one can chime in... they can check the vin plate on the door, probably will be there..

good luck,

My '61 says it weighs 5200 lbs. If I'm not too terribly mistaken. My '65 says it weighs 5000 lbs.

My '66 weighs 3500 on the scales at work, but its a short bed, stepside, with a 250 straight 6 and a 3 on the tree. I would say yours weighs in the 4000 to 4500 ballpark.
