I've ran into a problem. The steel oil line that comes from the oil pump, and goes to the oil jacket on the block, has damaged ferrels, and the brass nuts are dammaged. Someone cranked down so hard on one of the brass nuts that it was pulled over the ferrel and ruined it. I want to replace them, but the size is odd. 7/16. No one around here has anything like that. The steel line is not damaged.
I know I can't be the only one that has ran into this problem. Any of you Stovebolters have a suggestion? Thanks!

You will need to remove and replace both ferrels and nuts. My guess is that they will have what you need. If that fails then drop me an email and I will check with my old employer and see if their machine shop has some in stock.
Good Luck

You actually found those? I had ran into the same problem and looked high and low. Even Patricks did not know where to get them. I looked at the output of the pump and it is 3/8 and when it goes into the block it is 3/8's. So what I ended up doing is getting some 3/8's steel line and new brass and bent it like the original. I even went to the junk yard to find one. The 53->54 and the 55->62 235 tubes are different.
When looking at this, it will only flow with smallest diameter which is 3/8's I don't know why the put the larger tube from the pump to block.
Do you?
Thanks,
