Hello everyone,

I recently bought a 1958 chevy 2 ton truck and it came with a 327 in it. I know thats not the correct motor in the truck but what I am looking for is a website that I can do a numbers search to verify that it is a 327 and what year it was made and information like that. Does any one know of such a website?

thanks for your help!

Don't know of a site right off hand but if you post the engine # here I or someone else can probably ID it.

On the drivers side rear of the engine, you have a 7 digit number cast right into the block, and on the right side front, you'll see a pad right below the right cylinder head with numbers and letters stamped on it. If you can get me those numbers, I'll tell you what you have.
