| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 35 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 35 | Hi Bolters, I'm looking for an original style floor mat for my 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton. I'd like the molded one, as close to the original as possible. By the way, the 46 is finally road worthy, I've taken it on several "shakedown" cruises and it has passed with flying colors. The first time I filled it up with gas I had 3 different people come up and want to talk about the truck! How cool is that? Thanks, Possum _________________________ 46Possum 1946 Chevy 1/2 Ton (stock)

But...there is always a "but"... dont' be surpised if you find the mats made in China, Malaysia, Korea, Tiawan, or some other third world country. Seems as though anything you buy anymore to restore these old trucks come from anywhere but here in the U.S.of A. Disgusting, huh? | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | Also a good chance that they would be from India. India produces more rubber parts than any other country.

It is nice and thick and has a texture like bed liner. I can cut one to suit me. I wonder if she will miss it. I may be pushing it. Most of the rubber parts I have gotten from LMC have been OK. I put a rubber mat from there in my 82' s-10 and it has held up well for 5 or 6 years of all the crap I have hit it with. It did have to be cut some to fit but I expected that. Pretty sure it wasn't from the USA.
