I found some king pin bushings locally and left my spindles to have them pressed in and reamed. When I was looking at my spindles I noticed there wasn't a hole in the king pin bushing for the grease to pass through. This isn't right is it?

Did you find a king pin kit, complete with thrust bearings, shims and pins? If you just found some bushings it sounds like you will need to drill holes in them.

When you get them back, and if the holes don't line up with the grease fittings in the spindles, remove the fittings and drill holes through the bushings.

My new bushings do have the hole, it was the originals in the spindles that did not have the hole. No wonder they wore out.
