But I saw one just a couple weeks ago. It has cast iron manifolds on it and a front steer power steering conversion. The steering is the challenge on a swap like this. Billetproof NW PhotosStart with 100_4357.jpg and work you way through to 100_4374.jpg. These pictures are of a 1/2-ton AD with a 454 and I took detail pictures of a number of aspects of the install including what I could see of the power steering setup. Just today I dragged a junk 454 into my shop prep to mocking up putting one in my AD 1-ton. I hope to use stock manifolds but haven't yet got the pieces close enough together to really know.

I can see plugs in the manifolds, so they originally had air injection. I suspect once you solve the steering problem pretty much any stock manifold will work.
