I haven't seen anything in the catalogs but I had an ole timer tell me there was. I seem to have more "give" towards the bottom than it seems like I should.

Other than that I'm not sure if this is the part you mean. There is a lower panel that goes between the grill and radiator support.It has a hole for the starter handle. Is this what you require?

Were these rods in your pics not just fitted to the bigger'bolts? I'm curious now,as I haven't noticed these before on the smaller A.Ds i.e 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton.  John. I meant inner fenders not 'core'
