I'm just about to install the new weathersrip on the doorframes. Is there a particular adhesive I should use, or just regular contact cement?

Check at your local FLAPS. Most carry weatherstripping adhesives. I used Permatex Super Weatherstripping Adhesive on my 4t6 window strips. Very much like contact cement you apply one coat to both surfaces and let dry then apply a wet coat and install. It seemed to stick very well. I think the key is to make sure surface is clean. Good luck and have fun

Regular contact cement will work if you like the look of yellow adhesive sticking out from under the molding. The weatherstripping stuff is black and doesn't show.
