I know someone in North Carolina but that's a bit extreme. I can only suggest asking people with classic cars who they would recommend. If you have any car shows or Cruise-Ins in your are you might try going and asking around there.

Good luck.

yeah i go to school in charlotte but i'd be afraid to drive it down there at this point. i'll definitely look into the car shows and cruise-ins. i was also considering putting up an ad on craigslist for like services wanted.

I'd rather have someone who's been recommended do the work. Taking a sot in the dark with Craigslist could prove to be a costly mistake.

See if you can find a shop that's involved in round track racing.(NOT drag racing!) The roundy-round guys have to know what they're doing where final drives are concerned, because they have to function properly on both pull and coast, repeatedly, under full throttle operstion. Setting up a rear end isn't rocket science, but there's virtually no room for error. Getting the preload, pinion depth, and tooth contact pattern is vitally important for long life and quiet operation. Wish you were closer to Nashville, I'd be glad to help!

What are you looking for? I live in Fredericksburg VA and have done a few 3:55 setups. Send me a PM and let me know what you are looking for.
