This weekend was a "honey do" weekend for me. I did pickup my wiring kit (American Autowire) and managed to open it between my wife checking on my honey do's. It looks easy to install and the Highway 22 kit has 22 circuits thumbs_up and enough wire to hide the fuse box anywhere I want, which won't be under the dash.

I'm still wiring mine up. Got the guages and indicator lights installed. I'm building my truck one hour at a time because it seems like that's all the time I can put in at any given time without being interupted. At this rate I'll be finished next year!!

They were the turn signal, high beam and check engine lights for the TPI.

How about photos??? still kicking around options for a seat in my 48.

As far as what I got done this weekend... uhhh... mowed my 2 acre yard and worked both days at my day job. Piddled on my deck project a little and took the kids to see Wall-E. Gotta get that deck done so I can get back to the truck project!

Blasted and painted my sway bar for the panel. Also got new bushings for them that needed modified just a little. I use the "polythane" bushings from JCWhitney.
Cleaned the shop, did a cookout for the wifes birthday which include my son because his b'day is Tomorrow.
Spent some time playing with two of the granddaughters and did a couple honey do's.
Now its time to blast the body which I am in no hurry to get started on....still lots to do.

My son and I cleaned the garage out so we could get our truck back inside so we can work on our project again.

Welded in a rear section of the floor of my 55-will also fill the seams with glass paste. Seems like for every hour of welding there's 10 hours of grinding. Rebuilt a carb, painted the harmonic balancer and fan pully..slowly but surely shapin up

My weekend hasn't ended. I took Friday last week and all this week as vacation.

Friday I did yard stuff and Saturday went to the Billetproof car show in Chehalis. Sunday I finished some brake work on my '54 1-ton GMC.

Monday I helped one friend get a '41 Chevy ton and a half home, and another friend get a '52 GMC 2-ton home. I'm that guy with a trailer everyone wants to borrow.

Tuesday in addition to helping a friend get some building materials home, I moved the '54 GMC out of the shop (not as easy as it sounds) and moved a '50 Chevy 1-ton frame in. The '50 was setting out back in the sticker bushes in a spot you can't see as you back the trailer in.

Today I pulled the engine and transmission from the '50 frame and removed the rear axle. I started on the front axle and removed some brackets and one crossmember. Tomorrow I expect to finish reducing it to treasures I'll use elsewhere and scrap metal.

Since Friday is another car show and Saturday is family stuff I feel my shop time is coming to an end too soon.
