I discovered this problem of having to remove the clutch after getting the transimission off. The problem is I also discovered that my motor is locked up so I couldn't get all the bolts out of the pressure plate because of the bell housing. I now have the motor mostly disassembled but I need to know how to get the harmonic balencer off? Is it just pressed on there, needing only a puller to get it off? Or does the center where the hand crank goes turn out before you can pull it off. If it is just pressed on there how do you put it back on? Thanks! | | |

Use the proper puller that threads into the holes in the center. There is rubber between the outer part and the inner part. To put it back on, use a heavy piece of pipe that fits on the center and hammer the crap out of it. | | |
