Aftermarket suppliers have designed replacement knobs that can be attached to the handles. I've not personally used them but I believe they are held in place with a large head screw. Even if you can't find specific 46 knobs you can probably find knobs that fit your handles.

I believe you can drill out the old. I can look at the new ones tonight and let you know as I'm at work now. Good luck and have fun.

I changed my approach. I cut the handle off with a hacksaw just under the knob. I then used a punch and with a couple of licks it popped out. The new one has a metal stud with ribs and just pushes in. Can take pictures if you need. Good luck and have fun
