| | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 35 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 35 | The #HCA939219 is stamped on the block down by the distributer. I tried to find out what size motor this is but it wasn't listed in the casting numbers. Anybody know how to sipher this # ??
Also, on the rear end, stamped on top between the two ribs are the #'s "TL727" and "N657". Do these tell me what ratio the rear end is?? If so, what is it.

For engine ID you need to look farther aft on the side of the block, sometimes behind the starter. There should be a raised number that is part of the casting. Probably under a lot of grease. Go to www.inliners.org to learn which engine it's from.
