I've somewhat bled brakes before but didn't know if I could get away with doing all of them at the same time or not since these have the check valve built in. Thanks for the help!

I would do one wheel at a time. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 434 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 434 | Do them one wheel at a time, then you will be sure all air and old fluid is removed completely between the Master cylinder and that wheel cylinder. Otherwise unequal lengths in the lines, potentialy unequal pressures, you may leave some old fluid or air in your lines, probably the farthest back one. Finally, you can better keep up with the fluid level in your master cylinder making sure it does not run dry and pump more air into your lines goind with one at a time.

On my '50 the longest line from the master is the driver's rear because the line to the rear runs down the passenger side. While the right rear cylinder is physically farther away, it is actually on a shorter line than the left/driver's rear. Same is true upfront with the stock lines because the LF line comes from the passenger side again. Wouldn't you bleed it LR, RR, LF, RF?

The rule-of-thumb is furthest away from the master cylinder is first, progressing to the next furthest, etc, to the closest to the master cylinder.
