Pictures that is! I'm trying to gather up pictures of the back underside of the bed on 1950, 3600's. Any pictures would be welcome. I'm trying to sort out which holes belong and which don't so if I can get enough pictures I can make so comparisons.

Also I would sure like to have a few pictures of the stock 1950 3/4 ton, under bed roller spare carrier. I have quite a few for various years but most are for the 1/2 ton and it is a little different.
Thanks your 3600 guys.

If I had a 3600, I'd share my pictures with ya. I had the same problem on my firewall. Holes everywhere... but not anymore!

Well, I've got a 3600 but I can't be of much use to ya because I don't have my bed installed yet.

I bet he would still like to compare the holes on your frame to the ones on his. Post a pic.

I'm driving it to Richmond on 7 June for the Virginia Fallen Firefighter Service at RIR. I've cleaned it up, checked all the fluids and driven it enough to believe a 200 mile round trip is possible. It runs great at this point and I'm not sure what can go wrong but I've got a AAA card just incase.

I hope to enjoy the ride and display the truck all in one day. And the 4th of July parade is right around the corner!

Would you like to have a look-see at my frame? The wrecker bed is attached to the top of the frame, but the other holes may be the same.

Let me know, and I may be able to get the pics later today.

If it’s a stock bed Mobile that’s OK, I just want to see where some of the holes belong in the rear frame cross members and rear panel of the bed. Like what holes belong for the spare tire mounting, etc. Mine has all kinds of extra holes drilled where they mounted hitches and such and I’d like to fill what doesn’t belong when I do the frame and body work.
If it’s not to much trouble Dave, yes I would like to see how it looks. It is different than the ’50 but I will add it to my reference album. The details for the ’54 are pretty well documented in the assembly manual although it probably doesn’t show all the holes.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Mostly just what you can see sitting behind the truck looking up at the back end. What I'm really interested in is the rear cross sill and first cross member.

Does a 49 3800 qualify as needed or helpful? It has a dump bed on it so not sure what holes belong or not.

My new 1949 Chevy One Ton Dump Truck. Still have it but parked, needs a new motor.

Not sure Ben, but the 1ton might be similar even though the frames are a little different. Of course having the dump means that the cross sill is non-existent but the cross member may be the same. Of you can find the time to take a couple of pic I surely look at them.
Hey Dave, thanks, I won't have time to look at the pics this morning, I’ve got a class and then a guitar lesson after lunch but I will definitely look at them this evening.

Thanks Dana but I spent a half hour and never did get past the first page. Those must be monster sized graphics. My dial up conection cant handle high resolution graphics.

Thanks Eric, I got a few pics down loaded before I had to leave this morning. Takes about a half hour to get one thru the phone lines so I couldn't see to much. Tire mount looks different than the Chevy.

Will do Brad, I'm not ignoring yous guys, I've just been so dang busy this week I don't have the hours to spend on the confuser like I did in the past. Gonna be real hectic for a month or so and with a dial up connection it takes forever to download graphics.
Thanks for all the links and I will get to them in time.
