It is designed for v8's, but some here have put them in with Stovebolts. They may have some good feedback. I can't remember which issue or mag, but either "Custom Classic Trucks" or Classic Truck Magazine" had an install article last year. Search their web pages.
Current fleet (subject to change w/o notice) \'49 GMC 3/4-Ton , 60 Austin Healey Frog-eye Sprite (some assembly required), 2011 Dodge Avenger, 2015 Jeep Cherokee. No, they don't all run. My other ride is a (B737)no, (B767)no, A320.... Update... was Embraer E190, now Boeing B787. Knowledge is a wonderful thing, but ignorance means you don't know you can't do something.

Thanks for leading me to your site in regards to installling A/C. Looks great. I've been going back and forth about picking up a unit for my truck ('50 3100) but question just how simple the installation is (they never end up being that easy). How long did it take you and do you have an opinion about the difference in your unit vs. the Vintage Air unit? Thanks. | | |

I was impressed with how easy the installation was. I've never installed anything like this before - it was my first time - and I had NO problems! I think it took me about 4 hours ... and then I took it to an AC specialist and had the hoses installed along with a new dryer and had the system charged up. I've been driving around with the AC on and my driver side window and vent window open ... with the blower on medium setting, I get fresh air AND the cab is cool as a cucumber! HA! I love it!
