I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good universal brake kit or have any suggestions.

just do some measurin and go to your local FLAPS and pick up lines in the lengths you need.
the fronts you should be able to pick up close enough in length that with some finess you wount have to cut them at all, now the rear you prob. wont find one long enough but with a coupler you should be able to match 2 different lengths together to reach the rear end, goin this route will save you from having to mess with flaring ends and such.
A trick I use is to take some stiff wire like "safety wire" is my choice, you can start and bend it around everything to your destination it will hold its shape, then straighten it out an get a measurement for how long of a line to purchase for that particular run.
it is actually pretty easy to get your line length that way and head on off to your local parts store.

Do that and save yourself a ton of headaches. another idea is to buy an assortment where you can return the unused lines. Then, like Tim suggested take a clothes hanger or some other heavy wire and make the bends you need. Then duplicate those bends with the real line.

They have kits with all the parts you need including the braided stainless lines.
