I just bought some to paint my tube headers. Flat black finish. I bought the 16 oz can as opposed to the aerosol spray. Has anyone tried this?

It was about 9 bucks for the pint so I'm hoping it's good. I plan on doing two good coats over the headers before installing.

I don't know about this one but most of the high temp paints need to be baked at 350 for them to work at the high end of their range. If they fit in your oven and your S.O. is ok with it bake them in the oven or a Bar-B-Que will work, use indirect heat in this one! And no sauce is needed!!

Should work fine, but with all paint - proper prep! Sandblast preferred, handle with rubber gloves, thorough degreasing, etc. Small amounts of oil or contaminants can lead to big bubbles.

Paint should be fine, and at that cost not a big worry if you have to re-apply every year. Good choice for these trucks!
