Has anyone here tried one of these engines or know of their reliability? The price sure is hard to beat. I'm just curious as of the quality of the parts and build.

Totally reliable. Whats not to like? Even comes with a warranty. The best value I think is to buy the complete engine carb to pan.

I,ve used Targetmaster/Goodwrench replacement engines for many years. Over 100 of them (no exageration). The reliability & driveability are fantastic. smile

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Same as Wrenchbender, I have put in many GM crates, never a problem. I had one customer tell me he blew a rad out West, pulling a trailer, engine overheated & started knocking. GM dealer replaced the engine under warranty, he had to buy the radiator. Brian

Mines a crate GM motor - works GREAT. It's a 350 in my '81, and I wish it had more torque, but it's still a great engine. I want that thing!
