Mine is really a 1947.1 with the 3DP-J stamped into the metal. There is a picture on Chevs of the Forties Web Catalog and it saya 4600 lbs. http://www.chevsofthe40s.com/browse.lasso?&search=data%20plate&dept=truck&skip=1 1946 Chevy Half Ton ('56 235, '86 T5, '79 Camaro Z28 rear end, working on the '85 Jaguar XJ6 IFS) 1976 Margay Panther X, MC91B | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 151 Wrench Fetcher | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 151 | I'm not to sure the weight is that much, I've got a '46 1/2T Panel with a SBC and other stuff in it and on a certified public scale it's only 3200. I needed the weight to title it. The data plate has no weight on it either.

Shipping weight = 2870 lbs. Curb weight = 3010 lbs. Gross Allowable Weight = 4600 lbs.
