The printer emailed me and said he will mail the plates tomorrow after they thoroughly dry. I will let everyone know when they are ready.

Dave,
Thanks. Those have raised letters, a little too difficult my abilities. Of course, that also means it wouldn't need replacing because the print wouldn't wear off.

Hi,
I'm a new member and I was searching the forums and found this about reproduction VIN plates for big bolts. Did the vin plate get made? and can I still get one for my 1948 Chevy 2 ton COE. Mine has the word Chassis on it and is 16000 Lbs.
Thank you,
Lisa (coegirl) smile

Check with Mongo's garage. I am the one who made them, mainly because I needed one. Some other people were wanting them so I made extras and for different size trucks. I gave the rest of the plates to Mongo. He should still have some.

That's cool. I didn't know you could make a repro vin plate.

Most of the online parts guys sell them for the 1/2 tons. If you want one... please don't send to Paul Stanley... that's me. Mongo has forgot to delete my email. He has the plates. Not me. I gave him all the plates I had left over.

Hello, I would pay the $8 dollars for a 1.5 ton plate. Please sign me up. Message me when you get them, and thanx for going through the trouble. How is payment to be made?

Dang.... Don't send me any money or orders (pstanley(at)shaw) I don't have the plates anymore. Mongo has them, but has my contact info for ordering. I sent him all the plates I had left. Get ahold of Mongo directly please. His site will steer you to me and that won't get you any plates. Try Private Message to Mongo on this site if nothing else.
