Had the 1st ride(at home) in my '51 1/2 ton on Wednesday after 3 months of wrenching, detailing, adding part,etc. I purchased it in California a few months ago. The body is all original metal and was restored about 5 years ago with a v-8, ifs, 10 bolt,etc.
It was built as a "driver" and just needed someone to give it some TLC, as it was kind of neglected in the past couple of years.
I could not be more happy with the way everything has come together, especially since the wheels(18"&20") I ordered came in 2 days ago, they give the truck a whole new look, and I am very pleased. I still can't get the smile off of my face when I look at it and drive it. What a great feeling !
First show is Sunday, my buddys will have their 4 cars as well and I know we'll have a great time.
