I'm back;did a week of hospital time with some kinda pneumonia,and now that I'm home haven't had internet here for about a month. Re-financed the house while I ws hospitalized and hired a kid to re-model the house,make it safe for me to live in with my breathing trouble. He's doing BEAUTIFUL work,but has health and finance troubles of his own,so hasn't been getting things done very quickly. Sure be glad when this is done.
Also bought a Harley to replace the one I sold for what turned out later to be a stupid reason. Needed some work,but the price was right and it's set up about as I like it,I've been enjoying getting settled it with it. I've got some multiple-trades going to get a parts truck and a 3,000 mile engine for Max,my '74 Chevy one ton,this includes approx. 4 trips to the Reno area,one trip is to deliver a '64 GMC pick up and bring back a '78 3/4 ton 4X4,which I'll be trading for the parts truck/engine. Another trip is taking an empty,damaged car trailer down to get it rebuilt and bring back a utility trailer and a motorcycle for a couple of friends,one trip to haul a rolled '02 Chevy 4X4 down and bring back a Peterbilt chassis and drivetrain,and a buncha parts (I kinda dread that one-might have to travel at night...),and another trip will be to silver Springs to bring back a bulldozer a friend is buying for cheap. (Another trip I dread-I don't know if I even have a trailer available that can haul that thing!)
Of course,this is all subject to change...
