My 59 Apache is getting dressed up with new exterior cab trim. Since it never had it before I have to DRILL HOLES in my new paint job! That has me really hoping someone who has experience with the trim around the door windows and rear of the cab can offer some good advice. The trim kit came with the special clips for installation but nothing the way of instruction or information. Any tricks to this or good war stories I can benefit from. My plan is to pray, tape, mark a decent line, pray a lot, drill (while praying) and then hope I did good. Ralph

It would be worth your money to get an assembly manual for your particular year truck. The manual for my 60-66 shows exact hole locations!

The chrome installs on the cab lines. If the holes are not spaced just right it won't matter that much. Mark the holes on masking tape, use a small center punch and drill a "small" hole first. Then step up the the right size bit for the correct hole size.
